The goal of the Annual Jurisdictional IMPACT Leadership Conference is to equip ministries with practical tools to make a lasting impression through interactive workshops and innovative seminars.

Join us January 24-25, 2025 for the 2025 IMPACT Leadership Conference hosted by the Historic Virginia First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. Our Conference Theme is “Healthy Families, Healthy Ministries” and the Conference Theme Scripture is 3 John 2. This year’s Conference will consist of three (3) learning tracks:

Health Track

The workshops will provide the fundamentals of a practical Bible-based holistic approach to health education, focusing on Mental, Financial, and Physical Health. Participants will be able to think more clearly about themselves as individuals and about their connection to their church and the community.

Discussions will focus on strategies to improve learners’ well-being through skill and knowledge building, with a lens toward communities as living systems that incorporate thinking, feeling, responsibility, and purpose.

Participants will leave the sessions with examples and assessments designed to support transformative living and through clearer, healthier, and deeper individual and community life.

Leadership Development Track

Leadership may often appear simplistic and effortless, especially under the modern-day lens of social media. However, leadership in the professional arena, in our personal lives, and even in the church can become quite complicated when we incorporate various relationships, diverse dispositions, inevitable conflict, and spiritual warfare.

The leadership track will feature PowerShops surrounding healthy communication, team building, and spiritual growth in which presentations will focus on challenging participants to drill down, identify, and refine areas essential to continued development. Despite the current level of leadership, participants can expect to acquire knowledge and enhance skills for a deeper degree of tolerance, dialogue, collaboration, and Christian growth.

Expanding Ministries Track

The goal of every ministry should be ongoing, incremental growth. Without growth, a ministry risks irrelevance, stagnation and eventually decline. To foster a healthy ministry growth and expansion, effective guidance and training are essential.

The Expanding Ministries Track will offer workshops designed to equip participants with practical tools for engaging and building relationships within the community. Attendees will gain valuable insights on organizing a functional 501(c)3 organization that creates meaningful community impact. Additionally, the track will cover strategies for acquiring, generating, and distributing resources, helping ministries become vital resource centers for their communities.
