According to forbes.com (Forbes Magazine), “Even as the world gets more connected, the digital divide remains a global problem.” The lack of access to connectivity “creates digital ‘haves’ and ‘have-nots,’ and in modern society, that’s simply not fair. It’s also unnecessary. Bridging this divide can give everyone the opportunity to lead a fuller life and be prepared for the future of work.” COVID-19 caused a breach in the church, which caused in-person attendance to dwindle and virtual membership grow. With the ever expanding growth of the digital environment, it’s imperative that the Church repairs the breach and bridge the gap!
Join us January 26-27, 2024 for our transformative IMPACT Leadership Conference hosted by the Historic Virginia First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction as we focus on our theme – “Expanding Ministry Through Bridging The Gap.” The theme scripture is Isaiah 58:12. The Conference begins on Friday, January 26th at 7:30 pm with two workshops. It continues Saturday, January 27th at 9:30 am with two additional workshops. Then at 1:00 pm, we will come together for our Annual One Day Gospel Feast.

Strategic vision is needed to Cultivate growth in local ministries. Training is needed to secure success from the parking lot to the pulpit. The One Day Gospel Feast serves as the Jurisdiction’s first worship gathering of the year and will be held at 1pm EST. The guest speaker for the Gospel Feast will be Bishop Herbert Reynolds Davis, Prelate of El Salvador Jurisdiction COGIC and Pastor of Nehemiah Church in Durham, NC. Another Guest Facilitator will be Elder J. Kyle Nicholson, Pastor of Gates of Faith COGIC in Richmond, VA.
