As we maneuver during this ever-changing world during COVID-19, it’s imperative that we, as a Jurisdiction and as local ministries, continue to build on the landmarks of holiness, while being progressive to reach and minister to a shifting constituency. No longer can we settle for only doing ministry within the four walls of the church building, but we must be willing to navigate areas previously untapped.
Join us virtually January 29, 2022 for our transformative IMPACT Leadership Conference hosted by Virginia First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. This one-day conference includes a Day Summit from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm EST and our Annual One Day Gospel Feast. Click HERE to Register!!!
The Summit is for all ministries and all ministry leaders! It has been designed to fulfill Bishop Marc A. Thomas’ vision:
Innovate · Manage · Produce · Administer · Cultivate · Train
Innovation is needed to reach nations through technology. It’s imperative that Pastors, and ministry leaders, are equipped to effectively Manage (Shepherd) their flocks and resources. With so many souls at stake, it’s important for ministries to Produce results by preaching the Gospel. Administration is the engine to any organization and to run effectively, it must be sharpened. Strategic vision is needed to Cultivate growth in local ministries. Training is needed to secure success from the parking lot to the pulpit. It is our endeavor to I.M.P.A.C.T. the lives of ministry attendees during this Conference.
The One Day Gospel Feast serves as the Jurisdiction’s first worship gathering of the year and will be held at 5pm EST. The guest speaker for the Gospel Feast will be posted shortly.

General Session #1
The world is in crisis. COVID-19 has affected every area of our lives from the healthcare system, to the global economy, to how and when we attend church. Just because we serve God, it still has not exempted us from having to endure these predicaments. But the Word of God says in 2 Corinthians 1:4, “Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God”. The Lord desires to comfort, and strengthen, and sharpen His leaders, so that we can be prepared to impact the lives of those who are hurting and in trouble. How we lead during these times can make the difference in people remaining bound or breaking free. As leaders, we must be willing to shoulder our personal responsibility in directing the world to The Comforter. This workshop will help you to take an introspective look at your leadership skills and provide strategies and tools to assist you in becoming a better leader for the Kingdom.

General Session #3
The mission of the David C. Love Ministry Initiatives is to empower the local church to implement programs that address Education, Economic Development, Crime, Family and Financial Literacy. Because of the current trends of urbanization and equal opportunity rights, the Small/Rural Church and Diversity-equity are also additional programatic opportunities. This workshop will identify and replicate best practices for our churches that will result in measurable improvement in the quality of life for individuals, families and communities served by the Church Of God In Christ.
